Who is the founder of KadyLuxe? Kady Zinke. She danced in the NBA. My Take on KadyLuxe Clothing
I am impressed by the KadyLuxe Clothing line because it is a clothing line made specifically for women by women. This to me is amazingly awesome. Of course, I have one, or two other main reasons why I do like KadyLuxe Clothing. Below are some of my Thoughts on why KadyLuxe.
Pros:
- I like patronizing women because in the entrepreneurial world just like in most other sectors, women are marginalized, underpaid and discriminated against for the most part. So, when I find a female owned company, and female professionals, who are upcoming, or seasoned with great services, or goods, I patronize them.
- When it comes to clothing, specifically, many designers are men. My question is, who is actually doing the sewing? The women I guess. My bias is that a female doctor is in a better position to understand my female issues because she is sometimes, I actually think most times better able to relate to me due to her own experiences as woman herself. In the same vein, a female who constructs garments for women and girls will be able to related to the dynamics, contours and irregularities of the female body. The female dress maker will most likely not reconstruct male clothing into female clothing. The male and female anatomies are different. Therefore, we have different needs in our clothing.
- KadyLuxe Plus sizes nicely fit the body frame of the larger woman and girl. KadyLuxe has also used very durable and fine non shrink fabric to make their clothes. That is a big plus for me. I can’t tell how many times my sportwear has shrunk after I laundered them.
- KadyLuxe clothing has a catalogue of cute, stylish, but practical clothes. I love that about them, as well.
Cons:
- The largest size for KadyLuxe tops is XXL, which translates to a Bra (under bust) size of 42+. I do not like to wear tight tops. I wish they had an XXXL, as well.
- Some women and girls are top heavy. And having KadyLuxe tops stop at size XXL, might prevent them from patronizing KadyLuxe Clothing. Even when the bottoms fit just fine. Or, some women and girls are simply bigger than a size XXL, but still very stylish. Unfortunately, KadyLuxe clothing does not carry sizes above XXL in their inventory. Bummer!!
- Other women and girls are bottom heavy. And these women might not find the appropriate size for their bottom even when the top fits. In other words, a bigger Plus size than XXL would be nice. Like I said, KadyLuxe clothing line has Fabulous and Awesome Clothes.
