Tastiest Ribeye Steak Ever

Tastiest Ribeye Steak Ever is a testament that natural occurring Foods are most Tasty and Delicious without Salt, or any Seasonings. Wow! Oh my! By now, I believe you are aware, I have adopted the Carnivore way of eating. My health seeking journey started a long time ago. I mean years ago. Before I started following the Carnivore way of eating, I used a regular amount of salt to cook. Then, my younger brother had to stop ingesting salt due to a medical condition. So, in solidarity, I stopped ingesting salt as well.

Tastiest Ribeye Steak Ever

The Tastiest Ribeye Steak Ever without Salt or Seasoning

Before the Carnivore diet, I never imagined I would ever try Roasting, or Baking, or Cooking any form of meat without Salt, and all the other Spices, and Herbs I used to cook regularly. But, I have to tell you, you have to try this simple recipe to believe me. My family did not believe Ribeye, all other steaks, and meats can Taste so Deliciously Amazing without anything added. All along they thought, and verbally told me my food was Nasty because I would not add Salt to my cooking.

As a matter of fact, I don’t wash, or pat dry my meat before I Boil. Fry, Bake, Roast and so forth. All these cooking methods occur without adding anything except for the meat itself. One thing for sure I always consider when buying meat is that it is naturally Fatty. That is, well marbled. Grass fed and finished Beef is not as marbled as Grain feed Beef. Additionally, I never trim off the Fat, nor do I buy Trimmed Meat.

Fat as an Alternate Energy Source

Why the emphasis on Fat consumption? I have not been ingesting Carbs for almost two years. Except for when I have the occasional Greek yogurt. By the way, yogurts are not that great for us, especially due to the processing and handling present day yogurt goes through. Okay, so going back to why I buy only fatty meats. Since Carbs are a source of energy, and I am not ingesting Carbs, I need another energy source. Yes, you guessed right – FATS. Good fats. And, not the so called Vegetable Oils. I am still figuring out the absolute right amount of Fats my body needs daily. Doing very much better now, than earlier in my Carnivore journey. I have consistent energy and focus throughout the day, which lasts well into the night. Most times I say to my self, “I work hard therefore, I need the right kind of gas to keep driving hard…”

Benefits of Combining Intermittent Fasting and Carnivore Diet – Tastiest Ribeye Steak Ever

Furthermore, I have also adopted, or rather maintained a version of Intermittent Fasting where I eat not more than twice, daily. Most times, I eat One Meal a Day (OMAD). There is a lot of Research and Anecdotal accounts on how combining the Carnivore Diet and Intermittent Fasting has been beneficial to many people. So, going back to my Recipe. Roasting plain, unsalted and unseasoned Ribeye Steak was the Tastiest Ribeye Steak Ever. The first time, I did this, I thought it was a fluke. I thought the the Ribeye Steak was tasty due to Chance. But subsequently, I’ve gotten the same results. Here is the Recipe.

The Recipe

Ingredients

  • Two to 3 pounds grass fed and finished Ribeye Steak

  • Two or more Raw Egg Yolks

Equipment

  • Oven

How to Bake/Roast the Tastiest Ribeye Steak Ever without Salt, or Seasoning

  • If your Ribeye Steak is frozen, you do not have to thaw it. You can put in the oven as is.

  • Set your oven temperature to 250 degrees F. If you have more time to prepare your meal, set at 240 F.

  • Allow to bake/roast for 4 to 5 hours. The thickness of your steak, and how rare, or your preferred doneness will determine how long to leave the steak in the oven. You want your Ribeye Steak juicy, tender and flavorful. I typically go for Medium Rare up to Medium Well depending on my mood and time. I let it bake at 250 degrees F for about 4 hours, on average.

How to Serve

  • Serve with Fine Wine. Red Wine in particular like the Donna Walker Cabernet Sauvignon, which is a moderately acidic Fine Wine. Good for fatty meats. But, be creative and experiment with Nile Eddy Pinot Noir, as well. You might just prefer the latter.

  • Serve with Raw Egg yolks as a dip, or with rice, potatoes, vegetables, beans and so forth.

  • For me, I savor my Ribeye Steaks alone. Sometimes I use egg yolks as a dip. My eggs come from pasture and organically raised Chickens, And, the eggs are usually 2 to 3 days old maximum, when I buy them. Additionally, I do not refrigerate my eggs.
